TASTING NOTES
Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon stems from an endless fascination with the soils and diverse sub-regions of Paso Robles, where exceptional wines are being made. It also tells the story of the Hope family’s long history in the region and how their pride and knowledge can be brought to life in a bottle of wine.

95 POINTS - "Rich and concentrated, with a stunning dark red hue. This wine is bursting at the seams with attractive aromas of wild berries, blue fruits, wild berries, roasted espresso beans, vanilla- infused tobacco, English toffee, and layers of spice. As the wine expands in the glass, the full- bodied flavors of briary blackberry, dark cherry, ripe blueberry and fresh currants are lifted with hints of fresh mountain herbs, bittersweet chocolate, allspice, and toasted walnuts. Silky smooth with a perfect combination of depth, bright acidity and structure leading to a long, generous finish: this thought-provoking wine reveals more lively traits as it opens in the glass and a great candidate to age for 7-10 years in the cellar." - Chris Sawyer
The classic ruby color of this wine is stunning and sets the stage for this robust Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, aromas of tobacco, dark chocolate shavings, fresh black currant hints of savory notes. On the palate, layers of vanilla, coco powder, juicy cherry, baking spices and signature tobacco create a full body wine that is balanced by a splash of fresh acid and round, refined tannins.
