WINEMAKER NOTES
Justin made their first vintage in 1987 a wine styled after the famous First Growth producers of Bordeaux, created with the same uncompromising care as the Grands Vins of those venerable chateaux. For more than 30 vintages, ISOSCELES has been our flagship wine and quality benchmark for this style of wine here on the Central Coast of California.

ISOSCELES is a full-bodied wine with ripe black fruit and complex baking spice, made in the style of famous First Growth producers of Bordeaux. It is ready to drink upon release, but will continue to evolve with time in the cellar.

The ISOSCELES philosophy is to create a wine with the same uncompromising care as the Grands Vins of Bordeaux, using the finest grapes grown in the Central Coast of California. The wine is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Merlot, showcasing the unique terroir of Paso Robles.

Blend: 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, & 10% Merlot

Alcohol: 16.1%
92 POINTS - "Inviting aromas of ripe dark berries, cassis, chocolate, walnuts and bark. Full-bodied, succulent and mouth-filing with very fine tannins. Creamy and velvety with a lingering finish." - James Suckling

Socially Rated 4+ / 5 ⭐
Deep ruby/purple core with a black secondary color, and lighter toward the rim with moderate plus viscosity and slow-forming, moderately stained tears. Very aromatic and complex with ripe black cherry and cassis fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, and licorice spice with sweet tobacco, cedar, leather, and camphor notes. Full-bodied with ripe complex black cherry, boysenberry, cassis, and blackberry fruit on entry with baking spice. Dusty tannins appear on the midpalate with cedar, dried tobacco leaf, and saddle leather as it progresses. The finish is long, fresh, and balanced with notes of bay leaf, dried red rose petal, oak, and sustained tannins
