TASTING NOTES
Limerick Lane's flagship wine. This Zinfandel is blended from select blocks of fruit from our estate vineyards as well as other historic sites such as Banfield, Collins, Sodini and Ponzo.

Alcohol: 14.8%
93 POINTS - "The 2019 Zinfandel from Russian River Valley has a medium ruby-purple color and graphite-streaked red and blue berry fruits on the nose plus hints of floral perfume. The palate is soft, juicy and appealing, with spicy, plush fruit and a long, uplifted finish." - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

92 POINTS - "The 2019 Zinfandel (Russian River Valley) is bright and full of energy. Ripe red/purplish berry fruit, rose petal, spice, lavender and mint are front and center in this refreshing Russian River Zinfandel. Floral notes and bright acids perk up the finish. This is such a gorgeous wine, and also a great introduction to this lineup. The Russian River Zinfandel is really a Zinfandel-based field blend from Limerick Lane and a handful of other properties, including Banfield, Collins, Sodini and Ponzo. Drinking window: 2024 - 2034." - Vinous

90 POINTS - "With a bright entry of red fruit, this field blend is rounded and richly full bodied, balanced by its underlying acidity and waves of dried herb and clove. Leather, black pepper and a touch of nutmeg figure into the hearty mix." - Wine Enthusiast
Aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, violets & tobacco leaf. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry & gravel. Mouthfeel is polished, medium-bodied & lingering acidity.
