VINEYARD NOTES
Spring Valley Vineyard lies 12 miles northeast of Walla Walla, amid the picturesque wheat fields of southeastern Washington and the Blue Mountains in the distance. The 2016 vintage experienced the best of both worlds with a hot spring and early summer. A cooler than normal end of the ripening season allowed the wines to have ripeness, yet maintain freshness and elegance.

91 POINTS - "Complex aromas of currants, walnuts and iodine. Medium body, round and polished tannins and a flavorful finish. A blend of 93% cabernet sauvignon, 5% syrah and 2% cabernet franc. Drink now and enjoy." - James Suckling
91 POINTS - "At 93%, this could easily be a varietally designated Cabernet Sauvignon. The aromas show a distinct wheat and herbal note, the hallmark of this vineyard. Baking chocolate, cherry, green pepper and spice notes follow. The palate is plump and flavorful, while showing an appealing sense of elegance." - Wine Enthusiast
